Where are we:
IThe Naples bed breakfast Cappella Vecchia 11 (Piazza Dei Martiri) is right between the seafront of Via Caracciolo, that starts in Mergellina, where there is the port (where they dock the hydrofoils that go the islands of Ischia, Capri, Procida) and the seafront of Via Partenope, that ends in Santa Lucia, area of the big Naples Hotels.
Naples Port Beverello Quai is just a few hundred metres away. Besides the connections to the Parthenopean islands (Ischia, Capri and Procida), here are the hydrofoil and ferry boats departures for Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, for the Pontine islands and the Eolie islands. Here are also the connections for Sicily and Sardinia.
If instead of going in the direction of the sea you go in the opposite direction, you’ll reach Piazza del Plebiscito, by walking along all of the famous Via Chiaia. You will be in the heart of Naples old town centre, where you can see the Royal Palace, the National Library, San Carlo Theatre, the Umberto I Arcade and many other places (Naples Archaeological Museum and the Palace of Capodimonte) which will make unforgettable your stay in one of the most fascinating cities of the Mediterranean. |
